Project objectives:
Increase more children (especially girls and children with disabilities) accessing basic education Promoting of reading culture via reading and support groups, school libraries and community literacy Improving awareness and capacity to prevent respond and mitigate disasters in target schools.
Project results/achievements:
283 vulnerable children (disability, OVC) enrolled in SCN supported education facilities and learning centres with the composition of 96 males and 187 females,24 ABEK centres developing and implementing DRM plans and strengthening of 28 School governance structures (PTA, SMC) to actively engage in basic education performance and budget monitoring and resource mobilization
